RUSSIA INTERVIEW

             My Russia Interview

Alexandra Fedyukora said that Russia is not all that bad. Russia has its up and downs. The health care is one of there down’s, because of how they treat the wealthier people from the poor .It seams to me that it’s not equal and fair. We also talked about women issues education and ethnic groups, and she had something to say about it. It seams that her face was telling a different story from her lips.

Women issues are one of the biggest problems in Russia. Rosa asked, “What is the education like for women in Russia.” Alexandra states that’s women stars off having the same education rights as men. I noticed that she wanted it to be more equal and that she wanted it to be more fair. Its not like that at all here. Men and women are treated the same. If the woman wants to be the one making the money who cares that shows that she is strong. If the man want to be the one staying home then let him to it don’t matter. Rosa also asked “do you fell that there is descrimation between men and women. “She also stated that “she thinks it should be fair weather you are a men or a women, but in Russia its more of a women thing, women are suppose too stay home and take care of the kids and clean. I can see that she really wasn’t too pleased with the way things are. She sounds as if she wanted better and she didn’t want to stay home cook, clean, and watch the kids. This is similar to how it used to be a long time ago, when my great great grandmother had to stay home and do every thing, and only the men could make the money.

Education is big in Russia. Roberto asks, do you have to pay for schooling in Russia. Alexandra said “you do have too pay for your schoolings if you are attending a privet school. Her face showed that the privet schools where charging a lot. You had to be on the wealthy side to really afford it. This is similar to the schooling we have you have to pay for collage and privet schooling. Roberto also asked “Are your schools safe to be in.” it seems that she was basing the schools off the naborhood that its in. this remind me of are schools, and how the schools are, if the naborhood is bad the school is worse. The naborhood has a lot to do with the behavior in side the schools.

Health care is need in so many countries and Russia is one of them. I asked what percentage of people has health care insurance. Alexandra states that, “They give it to every one, but you don’t get the same respect. The wealthier you are the faster the want to help you.” The way that she stated that showed that she felt that it was so unfair. This reminds me of how they treat our poor people. They seem to not care about them enough. I also asked, “What do you do if you are injured and you need medical attention but you can’t afford it.” Alexandra said, “They just go the downtown hospital, but they might be waiting for more then an hour, or they might not get seen at all. It’s very obvious that the don’t get the same treatment ass others. That’s not how it is out here, all are hospitals are open to every one in need. I feel as it should be the same every where.

By the end of the interview I can say that I never learned this much about one country and all the things they had to go threw. I never had done an inter view before so it was very different. I really enjoyed it. One thing that was said in the interview that will stick with me was when Alexandra stated that there citizens are not treated fair when it comes to health care. If I get another chance to interview her I would ask her, “would you rather go back to Russia our stay in here in California? The way she speaks upon Russia in some happy and some sad makes me want to visit for myself so I can have my facts about Russia.
